  • Weona Park Study Committee
YOUR CHANCE TO HELP PEN ARGYL BOROUGH PLAN FOR WEONA PARK’S FUTURE Pen Argyl Borough with assistance from a PA DCNR grant will be undertaking a year long process to update the Weona Park Master Site Plan. It is vitally important to Pen Argyl Borough Council to have input from a variety of sources and viewpoints. We are reaching out for citizens from a variety of demographics, the school district, business leaders, county leaders, and regional advisors to create a group of volunteers willing to be a part of a Study Committee. The goal of the Study Committee is to create a Master Site Plan that will guide the development and improvements for Weona Park for the next ten years. The Study Group will be a structured decision making resource for the planning process with a variety of opinions from different interests to reveal the most options for Weona Park. The Study Committee will be made up of fifteen (15) individuals who will meet once a month beginning in January 2017. There will also be at least three (3) public meetings outside of the Study Committee meetings. If you are interested and can commit to the time requirements of the project, please contact the Borough Manager, Robin Zmoda at 610-863-1822 or via email by 9/2/2016 to submit you name for consideration to be a part of this very important project.
