    Slate Belt Rising
    SLATE BELT RISING Slate Belt Rising is looking for volunteers for committees that will assist the program to implement a community revitalization plan in the Boroughs of Wind Gap, Pen Argyl, Bangor and Portland.     New Ordinance going into affect
    NEW ORDINANCE-QUALITY OF LIFE The Borough Council has adopted a quality of life ordinance in response to resident concerns regarding lack of maintenance of properties, improper storage of trash and rubbish, storage of inoperable/non- registered vehicles and accumulation of snow and ice contributing to the deterioration of property values and general disorder in a community. Recognizing these are community problems, the purpose of this Ordinance is to promote the health, safety and general welfare of the Borough by helping to create a clean environment for the citizens of Pen Argyl.
