NOVEMBER 8TH COUNCIL MEETING
· Agreed to demolish Weona Park pool.
· Directed Borough Manager to present Resolution for the proposed updated zoning and building code fees. Last updated 2008.
· Approved the SBRPD 2022 Budget.
· Directed Solicitor to present amendment to Regional Police Ordinance for budget formula.
· Appointed Phyliss Pugliesi to Park Board vacancy.
· Adopted Ordinance #715 to amend the Park Ordinance to include Parcel C.
· Approved additional costs for design by Colliers Engineering & Design for the Main Street Force Main and Babbitt Street Projects.
· Approved up to $159,016.27 for replacement of Borough Hall Windows, utilizing Keystone Purchasing Network.
· Agreed to contract with Non-Nonsense Neutering for 2022 with 20 more vouchers.
PUBLIC WORKS
During the month of October, the Public Works Department performed scheduled maintenance tasks and completed all requested tasks.
ZONING/CODE DEPARTMENT
In October, the following permits
were issued: 1 electrical and 1 residential alteration. Processed 3 zoning
applications. Also completed: 1 residential re-sale property inspection; 1
commercial and 2 rental inspections. Landlords
are reminded to contact the Zoning Officer to schedule inspection of rental
properties to comply with the Licensing of Rental Properties Ordinance. Violators

SLATE BELT REGIONAL POLICE
Contact information for the SBRPD is: 911 (Emergency), 610-759-8517 (non-Emergency) and
610-759-8523 (Fax). In September officers responded to 420 calls for service, with 143 in Pen Argyl.
